Complex numbers

Modulus

Argument

  • Any complex number has infinite number of arguments.
  • Any two arguments of a complex number have difference of a multiple of 2$\pi$.
  • At least one argument of the infinite arguments of a complex number always lies in the interval π<θπ or 0θ<2π  & it is called the principal value of argument.
  • Any complex number has only one modulus & infinite number of arguments.
  • If $\theta$ is the argument of a complex number $z$ then -${\theta}$ is the argument of $\bar{z}$.
